Your First Visit to Our McComb Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

The moment you enter Webb Chiropractic, you will be greeted by a warm, friendly environment.

Make Yourself at Home

One of our staff members will ask for information that is needed for your file (i.e.:  driver’s license, insurance information).  You will be given a New Patient folder and we will review the paperwork with you.  After the necessary paperwork is completed, we’ll even show you around the office so that you will feel right at home.

The next stop is the consultation room.  We will provide you with some information about how and why we do things, and then Dr. Webb will meet with you.  He will want to know about your current health issues and what we can do to help you.  He will ask you some questions, and he will want to answer any questions that you have.

Dr. Webb will then perform a thorough examination to determine the precise care needed.  The examination will consist of several assessments to show Dr. Webb where you have disturbances in your nervous system or other problems.

If X-rays are needed, they will be ordered at this time.  Several images may be taken at this time.  X-rays are used to reveal the structure and alignment of the spine and confirm other examination findings.  Once the x-rays have been taken, you will return to the examination room.

We Explain Everything First

After a short wait, Dr. Webb will return and answer any other questions you may have.  Sometimes care can begin right away.  However, if your test results require Dr. Webb to perform a more detailed analysis or coordinate information from several different tests, we will most likely schedule you for a second visit to review the findings in detail with the doctor.  The front desk will assist you in scheduling a time for your second visit as soon as possible!

Dr. W. R. Asks some important questions of interest to McComb residents - Chiropractor McComb Dr. W. R. Asks...

What's a side effect?
It may sound like a bonus; something extra, but chiropractors know it should more accurately called an "unintended effect," and "unwanted effect" or in some cases an "adverse effect." A pill can't come close to matching your body's ability to create and deliver the essential compounds it needs. That's when it's important to make sure your nervous system is working correctly—the purpose of chiropractic care!
What's the difference between maintenance, prevention and wellness?
Maintenance chiropractic care is an attempt to keep a dynamic, ever-changing and adapting organism (you) in a static relationship with your environment. Preventive chiropractic care is mostly about early detection. Wellness chiropractic care is an attempt to optimize our health and be all that you were designed to be.
